MADAR International School observed World Food Day on October 16th. The yearly event raises awareness on the issue of world hunger. World Food Day serves as a reminder to students, and staff members, that this day is about appreciating the blessings of people having access to food. School activities focusing on disseminating knowledge about World Food Day included fun activities, events and projects that raised students consciousness regarding hunger. The activities included students coloring posters on nutritious foods and information on how to provide food packages to the poor in various countries across the globe.
