JOB OVERVIEW
The IT Assistant Manager will help lead the IT department through the optimization and support of the school's network and computer infrastructure. He or she must work with the IT Manager to lead, manage, inspire, challenge, motivate, and empower the IT team. The IT Assistant Manager must also help develop the department's goals and mission to ensure it achieves its highest possible standard of excellence.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain a positive, organized, and safe learning environment.
• Perform network administration and desktop support tasks.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of information technology.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex IT problems, and prescribe actions for resolution.
• Understand and provide support for various instructional platforms.
• Use technology, and teaching resources to help meet the learning needs of all students.
• Collaborate with peers to enhance the instructional environment.
• Establish and maintain an effective and efficient database.
• Provide Network security that will ensure student safety and well-being when exploring the web as required by protection laws.
• Maintains certifications and professional development credentials as required by ADEK.
• Model professional and ethical conduct when dealing with students, staff, peers, and parents.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the school leadership team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a relevant field. Master's Degree preferred.
Relevant Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience.
Languages: Fluent English Speaker.
Computer Skills: Network Support, Systems Analyst, Desktop Support, Windows Server, and various educational platforms.
Other Skills/Experience: Strong leadership and communication skills.
