‘Book Week’ presents a time to celebrate favorite characters from classics through to contemporary books. While students are engaged in a range of fun activities to celebrate Book Week, families are reminded of the ongoing benefits of early reading for future success. During this annual celebration of reading, Dr. Ali, a professor, and writer from Ajman University met virtually with 4th graders to explain the importance of reading. The students responded with great enthusiasm to his discussion and questions.
Ms. Suha, writer, and librarian at Brighton College, shared her passion for reading with 3rd graders and gave an amazing presentation that reflects the magic of reading books. Students were engaged and inspired to be writers.
