The Board of Trustees is composed of the Board of Directors, school leaders, and parents. The Board of Trustees supports the school’s growth plans and maintains its commitment to following its vision and mission in alignment with the vision of the UAE. The Trustees are an integral part of the effective implementation of change and progress in all aspects of the school.
Ms. Alaa joined Madar International School in 2018 as the school Principal. With over 22 years of experience in school administration which included over 9 years as School Director, and Principal, of many other well-known International Schools in Al-Ain, she has been instrumental in leading Madar towards a renewed focus on student achievement. Ms. Alaa takes pride in being a member of the Madar family and being able to be part of its rapid journey to success. Her passion for education drives her to strategically lead the school in a way that ensures students are receiving high-quality education that prepares them to be the visionary leaders of tomorrow.
Dr. Khayal Al Allaq brings over 18 years of experience in the educational field. She has held multiple roles in middle and senior leadership, ranging from Vice Principal for High School and Pastoral Care to Deputy Principal and Academic Vice Principal. Dr. Khayal is also a passionate researcher, poet, and academic writer. She published her first book in 2018 and is currently working on a book on transformative teaching and responsive differentiated instruction.
Ms. Renske holds a Bachelor of Education specializing in Early Childhood Education. She has been in the education field for over 5 years, teaching in South Africa before joining the Madar family in 2022.
Mrs. Farah has a BA in English and Literature BAU-Lebanon. Her love for teaching has enabled her to become a devoted education practitioner deeply committed to ensuring students have an opportunity to experience an exceptional learning environment.
