JOB OVERVIEW
The SEN Assistant’s responsibility is to support the students and work collaboratively with teachers to provide effective support for learning activities . Similar to an SEN Teacher ,their duties also include identifying individual needs, creating a supportive and effective learning environment, and ensuring that their students have the resources they need to succeed
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in planning and evaluation of learning activities with the teacher.
Support the teacher in behavior management and keeping students on task
To provide support under the direction and supervision of teaching staff to assist students to access the curriculum and participate fully in school activities.
Support learning by arranging/providing resources for lessons/activities under the direction of the teacher and in line with health and safety requirements
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the school leadership team
